Bulletin Announcements ~ updated April 28, 2017

Welcome, Visitors and Members! We count it a joy to be able to worship and fellowship together with you.  If you have a prayer request or praise, complete one of the ministry cards located in the pews at the church or email the church info@shsda.org. Cards will be collected during the Opening Hymn. Each request is prayed over in the office throughout the coming week, and they are sent to the prayer team via email.  If you wish anonymity, please indicate this on the prayer card.

Sign up to receive "The Word on the Street." This weekly e-mailed newsletter from Northern California Conference President Jim Pedersen includes a short devotional, pastor/teacher changes, tithe information, evangelism updates, wedding/baby news, condolences, resources, ideas, and much more from the Northern California territory. It is sent out every Thursday morning. Sign up today at www.nccsda.com/WOTS.

Our Losses

Winsome Gane (age 89), wife of Dr. Erwin Gane, fell asleep in Jesus early Sunday morning, April 23rd.  She had suffered a stroke, then later slipped into a coma and died peacefully.  Winsome is remem-bered as a wonderful piano teacher, devoted wife for 65 years, loving mother, and a kind, tenderhearted friend who loved Jesus and others wholeheartedly. Condolences may be sent to ergane@sbcglobal.net, or 1315 Aspen Place, Loveland, CO 80538.

Geneva Hanson (age 94), retired missionary and teacher, entered her rest in Jesus Thursday, April 20th.  Geneva's health steadily declined in the last year to the point where she was confined to her bed after a third fall.  She was a longtime member of the Saint Helena and Calistoga Churches.  She is preceded in death by her husband Otto and survived by her loving daughter, Judee Hanson and grandson, Christopher Martin.  There will be a family graveside service in August in Washington next to her husband's burial place.
