Raw Food Chef Sheri Yohe demonstrated Raw Tacos, Soup, Truffles, Strawberries and cream Ambrosia, and more, each of which she provided recipes for.
Over 150 happy munchers joined in the fun and experienced Raw Foods, unexpectedly delicious.
Sheri Yohe began her rapid rise of knowledge in the Raw Food World in November of 2009. She had a yearning and a hunger to be the best that she could be in order to teach and help others along this sometimes-daunting path.
In January 2010, Sheri was certified in the Basics and Fundamentals of Raw Food Preparation by Jenari Health Institute. Simultaneously, she was involved in the conception, design and implementation of Living Springs Health Institute in Roanoke, AL. Living Springs is a 12 bed residential facility that caters to individuals wanting to improve and increase their knowledge of health. As Director, Sheri knew that Raw Food would play a major part in the health of the residents. Besides just feeding them great tasting and nutritional food, she had a burden to teach her guests.
To this end she did an internship in the kitchen of the unique Lov’n It Live restaurant outside Atlanta, GA. She gained valuable information concerning the storage and preparation of some fantastic new recipes. Her new skills were put to the test during the Grand Opening of the Living Springs Institute when she coordinated a sit-down meal for over a 100 guests and board members.
Sheri continued her education by devouring everything she could read concerning Raw Food. She continued to build on her knowledge base by attending the 10-day Bronze Level certification given by the Living Foods Institute in Atlanta. She then attended Allisa Cohen’s Level II training for Raw Food Chef/Instructor.
Sheri has rounded out her training by taking the Certification course for Associate Chef/Instructor taught by Chef’s Jeff & Nancy Riedesel at Jenari Health Institute in Arkansas.
In addition to her formal training, Sheri has hosted numerous Supper Clubs in various parts of the country. She has also taught Basics and Fundamentals to her staff at Living Springs, and catered a banquet for 50 as well as taught a class on the Essentials of Enzymes and Digestion.
Sheri has recently recording 7 Health information DVD’s with Raw Food demonstrations which will appear to a world-wide audience via an established website frequented by thousands of people daily.
Currently Sheri is continuing her pursuit of excellence as a Raw Food Chef Instructor and Health Educator with additional certification classes at the world re-known Living Light Culinary Institute located in Fort Bragg, California.
